Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the SolidIce Discord bots SIDAdmin and SidLink, and the SolidIce Dashboard at dashboard.solidice.net, collect, why, and how to have it removed. We only use data to run these Services. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

1. What the bots can see

Like other Discord bots, ours receive information from Discord about the servers they are in: server, channel, role and member IDs and names, and messages in channels they can read. Both bots read messages to find commands. Message content is not saved, except where listed below.

2. What we store

Server settings (both bots)

• Server ID and the server's custom prefix.
• SIDAdmin settings: modules or commands that are turned off, moderator roles, and ignored channels, roles and users.

SIDAdmin

• Warnings: the warned user's ID, the moderator's ID, the reason and the date.
• Levels: your user ID and XP in each server. Messages are counted for XP, but their content is not stored.
• Economy: your user ID, coin balance, and when you last used daily and work.
• Tags: the tag's name and text, and the ID of the user who created it.
• Ranks: the IDs of roles that members can give themselves.

SidLink

• Connections: the connection's name, invite code, owning server, connected channel IDs, flags and text mode.
• Relayed messages: SidLink copies messages, attachments, the sender's display name and avatar and the server name to the other channels in a connection. It does not store the message text. It keeps only the message and channel IDs of each copy, for 14 days, so that edits and deletions can be passed on.

Dashboard

• When you log in with Discord, we ask for the identify and guilds scopes. We get your user ID, username and avatar, and the list of servers you are in with your permissions there. We use them only to show the servers you can manage.
• This data and your Discord login token are kept in server memory for up to 7 days, or until you log out. They are not written to disk. A login cookie keeps you signed in.
• We never see your Discord password, and we cannot read your messages or DMs through the dashboard.

Technical logs

Our servers keep short-term logs of errors and requests, which may include IDs and IP addresses. We use them only to fix problems and stop abuse.

3. Sharing

We do not share stored data with third parties. Data is processed by Discord as part of using Discord, and stored on servers controlled by SolidIce. We may disclose data if required by law.

4. How long we keep data

Settings, warnings, levels, economy, tags and connections are kept while the bot is in use, so that features keep working. Relayed message IDs are deleted after 14 days. Dashboard sessions end after 7 days or when you log out.

5. Your choices

• Server staff can remove settings, warnings, tags and connections with the bots' commands, or remove the bot from the server.
• To see or delete the data we hold about you or your server, ask in our support server. We'll handle the request within 30 days.

6. Security

Data is stored on servers we control, with access limited to SolidIce administrators. The dashboard uses HTTPS only.

7. Children

The Services are meant for people who meet Discord's minimum age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
